Our Story
Activ Projects Limited was founded in 2005 by the two Directors Mark Watkins and Zuli Hassam, who between them have over 40 years of experience in the shop fitting and business development sectors.
The Company is an approved supplier and shop fitter to most symbol groups. We work with a number of supermarkets, petrol forecourts, convenience stores, garden centres, fast food franchises, coffee shops, hair salons, high street retailers and trade outlets to name a few. As well as working in the convenience retail sector Activ Projects has also carried out numerous installations for large corporate accounts such as Wurth, Johnstones Paints and Tesco’s.
Activ’s Customers are spread geographically across the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland and also in the Channel Islands. Our installations have won prestigious awards such as the “Nisa Symbol Group Store of the Year”, “Forecourt of the Year”. We worked in partnership with NISA to create the new ‘Evolution’ format, which they are currently using, and we were commissioned to do six pilot stores for Costcutter in 2018. Our company director’s were mentioned in the “Who’s Who of Britain’s Business Elite” in 2009, just 4 years after setting up the company.
